Please
note that school can sometimes be delayed due to weather or other
unforseen problems. If this happens, here are some steps for what
you need to do:
1. If it has snowed, go to the following link to see if Edmonds
School District schools are either delayed or closed for the day.
Please keep in mind that although there may not be a lot of snow
around Westgate Elementary, district schools further East may be
experiencing a much more substanial snow fall. If this is the case,
the school district will delay or close all schools.

2.
If a delay occurs school will start at the time the delayed time.
For example a 2 hour delay means that school will not start until
10:40 am, but will still end at 3:10 pm. Buses will also be delayed
2 hours, so students should not be looking for their bus until two
hours after their regualar pick-up time.
One hour delay - school will start at 9:40 am and end at 3:10 pm
Two hour delay - school will start at 10:40 am and end at 3:10 pm
