About the Teacher

Finnigan Kellen:  Our baby boy was born on January 5.  He weighed 7lb 13oz and was 21 inches long.

Education & Experience: I graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 1999 with a degree in Family and
Consumer Sciences and a K-8 teaching certificate.  I graduated from SPU again in 2004 with a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a specialization in Reading/Language Arts.  In my seven years of teaching, I have taught grades 3-5 in both regular and gifted education.  Now, I am proud to call Terrace Park my home.

Other Interests:  There are no bones about it, I love to travel.  I have been to some incredible places including Honduras, Cameroon, Mexico and Europe.  My travels are far from complete.  I have yet to scratch the surface of many European countries and I still would like to travel to South America and Australia just to name a few.

Hobbies:
My husband, Chris, and I love the outdoors.  We enjoy hiking and camping in the summer and snowshoeing and skiing in the winter, but our favorite hobby is our dogs.  We have two Brittanies named Willa and Bailey.  Chris and I spend a great deal of our free time training, competing and hunting with our dogs.
