Remember, in order to earn a credit in Spanish, you must complete a 30-hour credit project (above & beyond homework & time sheets) that extends your learning about Spanish / Spanish-speaking culture outside of the classroom. You will now be asked to turn in your credit project hours (yellow paper with squares on it) every Wed./Thursday along with your time sheet.

Your goal is three coins, but that would be VERY difficult- aim for at least one. Print out the piggy page showing your total at the end-you can try as many times as you want to. You get a coin ONLY if all answers are correct! (Hints: leer is irregular for él, ella, Ud. and ell@s, Uds. = leyó / leyeron. Hacer is irregular in the past: hice, hiciste, hizo, hicimos, hicisteis, hicieron. Dar = di diste dio dimos disteis dieron).

11C Next class you will be making wanted posters with yourself as the star, so figure out what you want to be wanted for (some ideas from the past: singing too loudly, kidnapping stuffed animals, not sharing chocolate, etc.) and bring all props you will need.

 

Reminder of requirements: you need seven different verbs in the past tense, in addition to these required words / phrases:

Top of paper – big font = (Name) wanted for ....= Se busca (name) por ....(+ a NON-conjugated verb)

Example: ¡Se busca Fulano por hablar muy mal en español!

Top of paper – big font = : Vivo/a o Muerta/o = Alive or Dead

9B Complete the fill-in "-AR, -ER, -IR verbs Preterite Tense".

 

9C Watch your favorite TV / Internet show. Focus on one character & what s/he does. (If you don't want to watch TV, just focus on someone in your family or in your surroundings for a little while). Write in Spanish what s/he did while you were watching them in the past tense.

 

I want at least 10 sentences - each with a different verb please. Write the title of the show on the top of your paper (or the name or description of who you watched) and put the total number of sentences on the top.

Some irregular verbs in the past you might need are: fue (s/he went);
dijo (s/he said); tuvo (s/he had); estuvo (s/he was + feeling or location).

Your script is what will be graded - your project is what will be enjoyed by your classmates. 2A Learn any 15 reflexive verbs (meaning you can tell me the verb in Spanish and its definition). For proof, tell me how you learned them & be able to say them all for me (from memory or looking at the Spanish words only) in the homework line.

2DPlan your reflexive verbs project. You do NOT have to write any Spanish (you can if you want to), but you DO need to write up your plan for your project. Include:

1A Pick 9 verbs from your new help sheet - 3 -ar, 3 -er and 3-ir verbs. Conjugate them for all subjects (6 words each). If you want to be brave, try conjugating a reflexive stem-changer or two!

 

2A Go to this site: http://www.quia.com/jg/307026.html Do the flash cards until you learn them well, and then do the matching game three times. For proof, bring me draw the 3 designs you saw on each matching game, and tell me what happens at the end of each game.
