You will need to write the correct sentence in Spanish, including: the subject, the correct form of "estar" and the correct form of the verb in its -ing form (-ando or -iendo). Your help sheet called "The Present Progressive or "Ing" tense will help you prepare.

PARTY NEXT CLASS! Bring something to share with your classmates. We'll have a small fiesta before your tests.

IF YOU HAVE PLATES, PLEASE BRING THEM!

REMINDER: Time sheet due next class.

Verbs test next class will be matching (Spanish to English) BUT there will be more answers than questions so know your verbs well!

To study for your verbs test: Do your "speed conjugation" sheet over and over until you can do it without looking at your helpsheet. (Or use flashcards or test yourself however you wish to.)

This is what your "me gusta" test will be next class:

Study for it - hopefully with a parter (test one another). (You will need to know your "Mickey Mouse" song (yo is I, tú is you...) and both sides of your "cheese sheet" - the paper with a slice of pizza, a taco, a strawberry & a soccer ball on it.)

Part 1 = What is the most correct definition of gustar (it is NOT to like)...?

Part 2 = What words need an el, la, los or las in front of them?

Part 3 = Which sentence is correct - I give you three to choose from - this is related to Part 2.

Part 4 = You must translate 4 sentences from English to Spanish for different subjects.

Part 5 = You must translate "range" words from Spanish to English (encanta, no me gusta nada, etc.)

1 about yourself,

2 for boys (use names),

2 for girls (use names),

2 for "us" (use names) and
