Want to go to Mexico?

A mom here (Susan Saba) a runs a ministry called Club Rust. Students from EHRC go every year...maybe this year it's your turn? All ages welcome. Save a lot of money if you sign up by April 30th. Señora Swenson has been twice...it's an awesome experience.

Check it out at: www.ClubRust.com

Don't foget about the...

30 hour credit project requirement!

Remember, in order to earn a credit in Spanish, you must complete a 30-hour credit project (above & beyond homework & time sheets) that extends your learning about Spanish / Spanish-speaking culture outside of the classroom. You will now be asked to turn in your credit project hours (yellow paper with squares on it) every Wed./Thursday along with your time sheet.

Answer the questions in your head before you click the mouse - tell me how many you get correct. Learning these will help you write your commands presentation / commercial.

8B If you had your rough draft checked off, begin work on your final draft. Double-space all work and make sure to label carefully. ¡Gracias! Also, write a list of all of the props you'll need to bring in for your presentation.

7A Write the rough draft of your tú commands presentation. You received the rubric in class. (This is a performance exam, so you do the best you can!)

Your next project (performance exam) will be that you will explain something to the class. It can be how to tie your shoes, how to make a PB&J sandwich, pretty much anything you would like to explain. The BEST presentations are ones the whole class can be involved in (for example, in "How to wash a car", each student could have a small car, a Q-tip and a tiny bit of water to follow along with you as you present.)

Remember that lo, la,(it) and los and las (them) are direct object pronouns (me, te, nos & os are the others). You know where they go in commands-use them if you understand them. See example).

For example: "Haz dinero and dámelo" (Make money and give it to me).

Write 5 affirmatvie commands, and 5 negative commands. Extra credit for adding in direct object pronouns.
