Whew! We are back up and running!
Dear Students and Families,
Thank you for your patience during that
technology nightmare. Nevertheless, I have prevailed and
learned so much in the process. Reflection is often the most
powerful partlearning as so many of you proved in the learning logs on
your Walk Through History Projects. Parents, if you have not read your
child’s Learning Log essay on the project, I encourage you to do
so. I was so proud of our Bulldogs as they discussed how much they
learned. You will find out so much about the experiences, both the
trials and the victories as only middle schoolers can tell them.
Next the kids learnig about the cultures of
the colonies that began our great nation. We are studying them in three
regions, New England, Middle and Southern.
For Independent Reading, the honors kids are
working on a book report that is due on Wednesday, the 8th and the
humanities kids are working on summaries, but the actual assigment has
not yet been made.
As we study language, we turn to a verb unit
and will be looking periodically at some verbs and verb phrases.
Take a look at dates -- the end of the trimester is
November 30th.
Peace,
Mrs. Brown
