ALDERWOOD ART PROGRAM
Welcome to Alderwood Midddle School's Art Home Page!
Alderwood Middle School is proud to offer one of the best art programs
in the state. We have two art rooms: one that provides an area to
create two dimensional art work and another that is a ceramic studio complete
with seven potters' wheels and an outdoor firing area. Our students
have won local, regional and national recognition and awards for their
outstanding art work. Students may choose from four different art
classes after completing the introductory Visual Arts 1 class. Art classes
are open to both 7th and 8th graders. The clay mural above was created
by over 100 AMS art students in 1999 with guest artist Rose Morgan and
art department director, Leslie Dickinson.
