WELCOME!
Parents--if you are concerned about
cyberbullying and internet safety for your students and want to
know more about this, please join other parents for a presentation
coming on February 1. The presenter will be a police department
member who specializes in internet safety. Meeting in the Brier
Terrace Middle School library at 6:30 pm. This is a parent-only
meeting, no students are invited due to content.
Any high school students and interested
in learning more about community college programs are invited to
the EHRC library at 7:00 on February 1st for a meeting with representatives
from Edmonds, Cascadia, Shoreline and Everett Community Colleges.
Come and learn what unique programs each C.C. branch has to offer.
This is for ANY students interested in learning more about Community
College.
At noon on Feb. 1st, Sandie Jones
will be on campus to discuss Running Start with interested parents,
sophomores and juniors. This will be the only meeting until March,
so please join us if you have questions.
More Job and Training Fairs to come in the Spring. Plan
ahead for May 2nd from 9am-1pm. Job and Training Fair will be held
at the Triton Union Building at Edmonds Community College. Focus
for Juniors and Seniors on Entry Level Jobs/On-the-Job Training/Apprenticeships/Community
College Programs that are job-career related. More information to
come!
Culminating Project Meetings for seniors have taken place. If you
did not attend a meeting and have questions regarding the project,
please see your WSLP advisor or Margaret. Please check the following
link to the Culminating
Project Manual.
8th grade students have been provided notebooks containing information
and tasks to complete parts of their Career Exploration Graduation
Performance Task. Please remember to work on these tasks throughout
the year, and turn your notebook in to Margaret Daniels in May to
be checked. The notebooks will be returned to you as evidence of
your work.
