John Hopkins University conducts an academic talent search and offers educational programming for students with exceptionally high academic ability in grades 2-8 and provides challenging educational programs through their 10th grade year.

Institute for the Academic Advancement of Youth sponsors talent search testing for youth who have shown outstanding ability on achievement tests. The SAT for 7th & 8th graders and the PLUS Academic Abilities Assessment test for 5th and 6th graders are the assessment tools.
