INSTEP CONTRACT: SPRING 1999 As an INSTEP student I understand that to earn full credit I must be present and participate 85% of the class days and complete the following:

SCIENCE (.75 credit)

Attend tree farm & sawmill visitations.
Compile all Tree & Plant-of-the-Week information and sketches in journal.
Pass end-of-term Lab Practical Exam.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION (.75 credit)
Participate in a minimum of 6 class day hikes/outings.
Participate in both camping trips.
Demonstrate Map & Compass competence.
Participate in all other P.E. activities.

ENGLISH (.35 credit)

Complete all journal entries, assigned writings.
Participate in all assigned readings, topic discussions.

HEALTH (.15)

Earn First Aid/CPR certification.

ART (.15 credit)

Complete all sketches in journal/sketchbook.
Complete any other art-related activities.
I understand that all projects are due before the end of the quarter and that there is no way to make up missed field trips.
