Mr. Bergevin says: Congratulations to all the jazz students for a great showing at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival. Special recognition goes to Hanna Burson (alto vocal) and to Eric Dubbury (trumpet) and Miles Laven (drums) for outstanding solo performances.

EWHS Bands
Pep Band/Marching Band -- Includes all band students.
Concert Band -- Open to all wind and percussion students.
Symphonic Band -- Open to all wind and percussion students who have successfully completed Concert Band or its equivalent.
Wind Symphony -- Permission of instructor only. Student must demonstrate a high level of performance skill, motivation, self direction and a basic understanding of music theory and history.
Jazz 1 -- Concurrent membership in Large Music Group. Audition and permission of instructor only. Student must demonstrate a high level of performance skill, motivation, self direction, basic understanding of jazz and music theory. Standard jazz instrumentation.
Jazz 2 -- Concurrent membership in Large Music Group and instructor permission.
