I graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a BA in English Literature and a Teaching Certificate in secondary education. I lived and worked in London for most of 2005-2006 and broadened my horizons by traveling around Europe. I returned to Seattle to become a substitute teacher in both the Edmonds and Lake Washington School Districts. After substitute teaching, I took the opportunity to work in Boston, MA for the summer. I spent the summer teaching English as a second language at Fay School, the oldest boarding school in America, to students from all over the world.
I am so excited to be back in Seattle and teaching at Meadowdale Middle School.
Of everywhere I have visited Seattle is still my favorite place and Edmonds
is my favorite school district. In my free time I enjoy attending yoga classes,
going on long walks with my boyfriend, drinking tea, and spending time outside
