12th English Found Poem - Partners in Crime

I started

nostalgic, wanting to protect

childhood memories

taught to be myself

Knowledge

Memory is nothing but a story

This is something I began

community that was once my home.

We thought differently

I knew my life was going to change

always looking up

friendships and jobs...I am growing up

No one knows

the rest of the world.

            Pristine Innocence

                        is fun.

Change could be...

Harder I try, more I would improve.

Then I met.

remember not being lonely but being happy.

Keep trying
