This elective course is designed to explore areas of Geology in more depth or in addition to those studies in Unified Science. An in-depth look at concepts through basic chemistry concepts will give the student a greater understanding of the natural world, and the constantly changing landscape.

Content: Emphasizing inquiry and scientific theory, this course will introduce geochemical concepts essential to understanding the natural world, including isotopic methods, earthquakes, volcanoes, thermodynamics, minerals, elemental cycles and rock formation/destruction.
