Course Description

This course includes working with data, finding mathematical models that involve patterns and relationships, arithmetic and geometric sequences and series and probability and statistics. Special emphasis is given to seeing the rate of change through the many types of mathematical models and functions. In addition to extending topics of Integrated Mathematics A and B, some other topics include: investigating roots and powers, finding linear regression equations, solving systems of equations, using matrices, graphing functions, inequalities, linear programming, radicals, exponential expressions and polynomials. Equipment needed: Notebook, graph paper, pencil, ruler, compass & TI-83 Plus graphing calculator.
