Course Description

Advanced Placement Calculus is a college level calculus course. Students will develop an appreciation for calculus as a coherent body of knowledge and human accomplish as they explore a multirepresentational approach to calculus with concepts, results, and problems being expressed graphically, numerically, analytically, and verbally. Students will explore graphs, functions limits, derivatives, and integrals. The course requires a graphing calculator (TI 83 Plus or TI 89 Plus) and notebook. Students are encouraged to take the Advanced Placement Calculus AB exam in May.
