Not an Edmonds School District Teacher?
Instructions for getting clock hours from Edmonds School District as an Out-Of-District Teacher

Sign-In
Sign-in on the attendance (sign-in) sheet, being sure to note on it that you are from a different district. Remember, OSPI mandates that 3 hours of attendance are required for Clock Hour Credit.

Fill Out Your Forms
At the end of the course fill out the Clock Hour Verification Form and Evaluation being sure to note your address and phone number on the Verification Form.

Calculate Your Fee
The fee must be paid by check. There is a $5 processing fee and an additional fee of $2 per clock hour credit. You can use the chart below to calculate your fee. Example : for a 3.5 hour course the fee would be $12.

Mail Your Forms

Do not submit your forms or check to your instructor.

If your course is NOT at the Educational Service Center, you must mail your forms and a check payable to "Edmonds School District" in the amount calculated by using the chart above to:

If your course is at the Educational Service Center, you may leave a sealed envelope containing your check and forms with the Receptionist at the Front Desk. Be sure to label the envelope for Clock Hours/Teaching and Learning.

Expect a Response within 6-8 Weeks

A signed copy of the Verification Form and a receipt for your payment will be returned to the address listed on the Verification Form.

* Do not calculate clock hour time for lengthy breaks or meals. Remember that clock hour credit is only issued in 1/2 hour blocks. Example: if you take a 3 hour and 45 minute course, you will earn 3.5 clock hours.
