Dress Code for 2007-08

Students should arrive at school in clothing
suitable to allow students the opportunity to concentrate on learning. (We will ask teachers and staff to send any
child who is not appropriately dressed to the office.) Parent will be called if
there is a question.
·
Shorts or skirts, a good
measure is to have students put his/her hands down to their side-where their
fingertips touch the leg. This would be the proper length.
·
Pants must fit around the
waist. No dragging on the ground.
·
Tube-tops, crop-tops (must
cover the waist no belly button showing), halter-tops, spaghetti straps,
half-shirts, or “fish net” items are inappropriate to wear to school. Politically correct T-shirt and sweatshirts
logos—no drink ads, racial slurs
·
No flip-flops, sandals
without backs, or heel no higher than 2” as these are a safety issue.
·
Shorts should be worn under
skirts and dresses.
·
Out of respect for all, hats
and scarves should not be worn in class unless it’s part of religious attire.
