Good morning!

I am finding it difficult to believe that it is already the end of another school year.
They seem to go faster and faster for me every year!

Tuesday, June 17th the 6th grade promotion ceremony is at 6:30 in the gym. We would like any 6th grade parents who can help with set-up to come to the gym at 3:40.

Wednesday, June 18th is a half day, all students will be released at 12:10.
Breakfast and lunch will NOT be served on this day.
We will have a goodbye assembly at 9:30 that morning for all staff and students.

Our new PTA President for the 2008-2009 school year is Bob Gregg.
He is attempting to update the PTA contact information so he can keep you informed next year, and would appreciate it if you could send him your name and e-mail address.

We have two teachers that are retiring this year, and I would like to wish Mrs. Jacobson and Mrs. Soeldner the very best. They will be greatly missed.

Thank you to all of the amazing volunteers who helped make this a fantastic school year. Whenever I needed someone to help out you stepped up, and it really did make a difference to the staff and students at Martha Lake.

I hope everyone has a fun and safe summer, and I look forward to seeing you in September. Good luck 6th graders as you move on to new adventures.
