Second Grade School Supplies

2007-2008 School Year

 Dear Parent,
In order to achieve good study skills and perform at their best in class, students need to bring to school the supplies listed below by the end of the first week. Please help your child with this list and check it periodically during the year to replenish needed items. Toys, electronic games, etc, should NOT come to school.

• * School Box (standard size)
• * Two wide ruled spiral notebooks
• * Crayons (24+)
• * 12 #2 lead mechanical pencils (non-refillable-BIC or Papermate)
• * 2 red correcting pencils
• * Markers
• * 2 Pink pearl eraser
• * Elmer's Glue (We recommend Crayola No Clog Tip)
• * 2 Glue Sticks
• * 4 folders (pocket at the bottom)
• * Box of tissue (reg. size box)
• * Student Scissors
• * Ruler (wooden)
• * 12 band-aids**
• * 1 or more boxes of baby wipes
• * 1 Bottle of Purell Hand Sanitizer

NO 3-RING BINDERS/TRAPPER KEEPERS

Thank you for your help in providing these supplies. Remember some will need to be replaced from time to time. Please ask your child regularly about his/her supplies.
