Superintendent’s Meeting: You are invited
to a Northwest Quadrant Parent Meeting on November 18, 2009 in
the Meadowdale Middle School commons. The meeting will start at 7PM.
Superintendent Nick Brossoit will give an update on district and state educational
matters.
School Day Notes:
New to Meadowdale Elementary? Do you
want to learn more about topics such as: The “Meadowdale Way” Jobs Program
Academic Expectations? Then please come to an informal informational night for
families who are new to Meadowdale this year. Principal Davis will be hosting
this Q and A get together on Tuesday, Nov. 3rd
from 6:30-7:30pm. The location of the meeting will be in either the commons or
library depending on the number of people who want to attend. If you are interested in attending, all you
need to do is sign up during your conference. Each teacher will have a sign-up
form.
Sunny with a chance of
meatballs: Spaghetti feed and
Bingo night. Please join us on Tuesday Nov.10th
from 6:00-8:00pm to help raise money for 6th grade camp. Olive
Garden is providing dinner so it will be great! It is $5.00 per person or
$20.00 per family. Bingo cards are $1.00 each.
Reminder: Use the Meadowdale Play fields when picking up your
children. Do not use the visitor parking lot.
Cyber-Security: Please
visit the following web sites to find information on how to stay safe online at
home; www.staysafeonline.org and
www.privacyrights.org. This is very
important information protection for you and your family. Thank you to Denise Fridge
for presenting this information at the Booster Club meeting on Tuesday, Oct.13th.
SmileMobile is coming: Does your child need dental
care? The Washington Dental Service Foundation’s SmileMobile will be in Lynnwood
from November 30th – December 4th
2009 at the Cedar Valley Community School. The SmileMobile provides dental care
to children with limited family income and accepts medical coupons and has a
sliding scale based on family income. To learn if your child qualifies for this
program and to schedule an appointment, please call 425-431-7390.
