Last Day of School, June 19th

             Our last day of school is June 19, 2009.  No lunch will be served on this day and we will have an 11:40 AM early release.  Mrs. Batson’s afternoon class will NOT meet on this day.  The school office will be open through the month of June and will be closed during the month of July.  The office will reopen on Monday, August 3, 2009. 

             If you are moving this summer and will not be returning to Meadowdale, please call the office at 425-431-7754 to let us know.

             If you need immunization records for your child’s new school,

please let us know and we’ll be happy to make a copy for you.

             Please have a safe and relaxing summer and we’ll see you in September.

 

First Day of School, September 8th

             For the 2009-2010 school year, our first day of school will be Tuesday, September 8, 2009.  School hours will be 8:40 AM to 3:10 PM.

             Class placement letters will be mailed in late August and if your child is eligible for bus transportation you will receive a bus card in the mail in August. 

             If your child received any immunizations during the summer, please notify the office after August 3rd so that we can update our records.  State law requires that all students be fully immunized by the first day of school.  Failure to obtain required immunizations could result in your child not being able to start school on September 8th.

Talent Show

             Please join us on Thursday, June 11th for our Talent Show.  Our students have been hard at work practicing their performances.  The show starts at 7 PM and will be held in the Commons. 

             A big thank you to Mrs. Bell and Mr. Marletto for their time and effort in making our talent show a success and to all of our talented students who auditioned and performed.
Text Box: Library Books Due All library books must be returned to the library by Friday, June 12, 2009. Students returning their books by June 12th will receive a “Star Student Dog Tag”. Library fines must be paid in order to receive your child’s report card. Checks should be made payable to the Edmonds School District.
