Yearbook (Center/Advisory) Page Requirements

• *Title
• *Teacher photograph(s)
• *Dominant photo (or photo montage) representative of large group, definining activity or routine.
• *Secondary photos
• *Copy: One paragraph that gives an overview of the center. Tells about memorable activities, events, field trips, etc. This will need to be approved by center teacher(s) AND media liaisons.
• *Captions (not required for ALL, but as per class discussion
• *Quick Read: Survey, fast facts, quotes, poll, etc.
• *Font: appropriately used as per Text Element Requirements (forthcoming)
• *"Glance Back At Us" thematic element- your choice.
• *Portrait page: intentional use of remaining "white" space on portrait page to connect it to "center page" Left and right dps.

Prior to placing photos on the page, all photos must be uploaded to the yearbook site and be approproved by the editor(s) before they become available for yrbk staff use. Select your photos accordingly. High quality photos only!

Copy article should include information gathered from multiple sources including teachers, students, class web sites, Bear Facts, etc. Be sure your paragraph includes information that is relevent, entertaining and memorable to the students that are part of that center.

This is photographic and written text documentation of their year in that class. One that will be read by adults and students alike, yet over and over and over again by the purchaser of the book. Do your very best to document the year in words and pictures for them.
