The Character Trait for March is....Fairness

Fairness: Follow the rules. Share. Wait your turn. Respect others. Be Honest. Dont' Cheat.

Be Trusted at School and everywhere else.

What are the parts of being FAIR to others?

FOLLOW THE RULES—fairness is really a lot about following the rules because without rules we don’t know who wins or how to play the game or if everyone has had a fair chance.

SHARE—like with the cookies.

WAIT YOUR TURN—so everybody gets a fair amount of turns.

RESPECT OTHERS—to be fair respect means that everyone deserves to be treated the same or equally.

BE HONEST—cheating happens when people are not acting honestly and that is just not fair.

DON’T CHEAT—cheating really makes things unfair and it really is no fun to play with a cheater.

BE TRUSTED—friendships are based on trust—and so is playing fairly—Do your friends trust you to be fair?

AT SCHOOL-and everywhere else—BE FAIR
