My
name is Ken Rubin. I'm married with two sons, 23 and 26 years old. Before
I became a teacher I spent 21 years in sales and management- hiring
and training employees. I saw that the happiest and most successful
empployees were internally motivated. This
shaped my belief that students need to be deeply
involved in their own education. By connecting
teaching to the world outside of the classroom,
students develop habits of lifelong learning and
citizenship. Creating independent, curious,
respectful learners is my goal.
Family involvement
is crucial to the success of
