Kindergarteners come to music once or twice a week. Fun, enjoyment and developing a life-long love of music is a major emphasis. Children are encouraged to develop their singing voice, steady beat, and begin keyboard skills. Curriculum lists the critical elements a kindergartener is expected to learn during their year in music. Report Cards and Assessment shows in detail what skills each kindergartener is assessed for their report card.
