Mr. Slettvet's careers have included stints as a U.S. Navy submarine officer, seakayaking tour guide, college instructor, and full-time Dad. His current profession in special education began in 1996. He is married and has children aat the UW and EWHS. Mountain biking, tennis, skiing, and reading (crime fiction) are his favorite past-times .
