Mrs. Metcalf can be found teaching third grade in room 9. When asked what she likes to teach most she said, "I like teaching reading the most because stories can open a new world to kids and I love to plan lessons around them." She adds, "If I didn't work here I would do something fun with kids and enjoy my grandchildren." A place she would love to visit is the east coast of the United States. Mrs. Metcalf went to Western Washington University, University of Washington, and Seattle Pacific University. If she were able to teach any grade she would teach exactly what she is currently teaching, third grade.
