Kristin Galante has been the Librarian at Lynndale for the past 16+ years. Her favorite library activity is introducing students to books that they will love to read and read and read.

If she were to go on a trip it would be a time travel to 19th century England. She would plant a cottage garden beside her little stone house on the shores of the Cornwall coast and sell herbs at the local market.

"If I were not a teacher I would like to be a forensic scientist working for the FBI and solving crimes.

Mrs. Galante received her Bachelor of Arts in Personnel Relations at the University of Washington. She also holds her life-time teaching credentials and Library Endorsement from the University of Washington. Kristin has a Master of Education in Computer Education from City University. Her favorite subjects in school were and are Economics and Literature.

She believes that she has the best job in the world. That job is working with children, books and computers.

In her free time she spends many hours laughing and playing with her four (soon to be 5) grandchildren.
