I am originally from Edmonds, having gone to Seaview Elementary, Meadowdale Middle and Meadowdale High. It's great to be teaching in my hometown! After high school, I decided to venture down to Tucson, Arizona to attend the University of Arizona. There, I got my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, as well as a lot more sun. I also studied abroad in Florence, Italy for a semester, where I learned about art, history, and pizza. I recently moved back here from Tucson, finding that I truly miss this green state. I got married this last summer, and I am still getting used to my new name! I love to travel, I love any sport, I love dahlias, and I absolutely love a good adventure, whether it's in a book or in real life.
