Free and reduced meal applications for the 2006-07
school year will be mailed out Aug. 23, 2006. They will
be mailed to households, only one per family.
This date is later than usual, and we request that
families wait until they receive it in the mail. A
student's benefits for the 2005-06 school year have been
extended and will not expire until the middle of
October. This is the reason for the delay in mailing the
applications home. They will be mailed to all households
with active students in the district. Students who
qualify for reduced-priced meals will be able to eat
breakfast for free for the 2006-07 school year.

Meal account balances
follow the student in the Edmonds School District. If
they have a balance on their account June 21 it will be
waiting for them on Sept. 5, 2006 even if they change
schools within the district. If the student's meal
account is in a negative balance we ask that you pay
this before the start of the 2006-07 school year. They
can mail their payments to Edmonds School District,
Attn: Food Services, 20420 68th Ave. W, Lynnwood WA
98036. Please include the student's name and PIN or
customer ID number. PIN numbers are site
specific, so those will change if they change
buildings. Students whose PIN changes will be
notified of their new PIN before the start of school. |
