Basic Information about Edmonds and Edmonds Elementary
Principal Welcome
I am excited to start my first year as the Principal of Edmonds Elementary! I have served in a variety of roles over my sixteen years in public education but I already feel at home here in Edmonds.
I have met the hard working staff members in our building as well as many supportive parents. Our staff has been well trained and has a deep sense of commitment to helping each child reach his or her potential.
I have heard from reliable sources that our parents are very supportive and giving of their time and energy to better the conditions for all children. They ensure that our teachers have the equipment and supplies they need to enable them to facilitate learning. I can tell by the beautiful playground, the new walking track and the amphitheatre that some hard work has taken place to get these big projects installed for our children.
We will be putting a major emphasis on respect, caring, and kindness as we move forward in our learning this year. It is our goal to support the children not only academically but in their social growth as well.
I feel honored to be a part of Edmonds Elementary and look forward to learning more about the culture. Please feel free to stop by and say "Hello" anytime.
