Meetings are held on the following dates at 7pm in the Alderwood Middle School staff lounge. We encourage parents to join us and get involved with your childs school. All are welcome!

September 10, October 8, November 12, December 10, January 14, February 11, March 11, April 8, May 13 and June 17.

If you've not already joined the PTA, membership forms are available in the main office. Membership is $10 and directly benefits students at AMS. Even if you cannot attend PTA meetings or volunteer at AMS, joining the PTA is a great way to support the school. Last year the PTA purchased classroom materials and supplies including calculators for math, art materials, solar car kits for technology education, and hosted our multicultural night.

ALDERWOOD MIDDLE SCHOOL CARES

As many of you know, this holiday season is going to be especially difficult for many families at Alderwood Middle School .  The economy has hit all of us really hard; but it especially hits those families who struggle to keep afloat even in good economic times.  We have many families here at AMS who work two, sometimes three jobs to pay for basic needs like rent, food and electricity.  This leaves little money for anything else.  Each year, teachers and counselors speak with families who experience great pain at not being able to have a nice holiday meal or buy their children any presents.  If you are in a position to donate a gift basket, a gift card or non-perishable holiday groceries, we will ensure that it goes to our families most in need.

 

Alderwood Middle School is a Community Partner of Albertsons Grocery Store. By filing out a Customer Registration form Albertsons, Alderwood Middle will recieve a Partners donations based on purchases

Boxtops for Education: Earn cash for AMS every time you shop for groceries. Clip Boxtops coupons from hundreds of products found at your local grocery store. Each coupon is worth 10 cents when we redeem them from General Mills. There is the potential to earn thousands of dollars with this fund-raiser.

Students can bring boxtops and put them in the drop box in the main office and PTA volunteers will clip and send them in to be redeemed.

Pop Secret popcorn, Bagels, Chex Mix and Gardettos snacks.
